Description

  1. Optical windows are used to protect the optical system and its sensitive parts from the outside environment. Choosing the correct optical window that transmits the wavelengths required for the application is critical to achieving the best results. Windows are widely used in projection systems, imaging systems, optical measurement systems, etc.
  2. Output couplers are mainly used to ensure laser power and output mode in a laser cavity. In industrial CO2 lasers , the output coupler returns a portion of the total laser energy into the cavity and another portion of the energy out of the output cavity for application in cutting, welding, and heat treatment.
  3. Beam combiners are used to synthesize two wavelengths of light into a light path using transmission and reflection. In laser processing, it is generally used to calibrate the 10.6 µm or 1064 nm laser beam by combining 650 nm visible light into the optical path.
  4. Beam splitters are used to split the laser beam into two beams, the transmitted beam and the reflected beam.
  5. Galvanometric scanning mirrors are “X and Y” mirrors whose reflection is greater than 99.5%. They are used to precisely position the laser beam through the optical structure of the galvanometric deflection heads.
  6. Computer vision is a branch of artificial intelligence that is rapidly evolving. In summary, computer vision consists of using machines instead of human vision to measure, see and verify accurately and according to pre-established criteria. Machine vision mirrors are customized to suit requirements.
