A Telecommunications Engineer with a strong passion for Physics and Photonics from an early age, after several years promoting and supplying laser cutting and marking systems, founded the Spanish subsidiary of Carl Baasel Lasertechnik in 1991, a leading German company in the development and supply of laser systems for multiple industrial applications, thus acquiring extensive knowledge of the market needs and expectations alongside a global reference.
After a successful management for a decade, in 2001 he founded “Industrial Laser Solutions, S.A.” to cover a growing market demand for marking, welding, and cutting applications, operating in the Iberian Peninsula as the Exclusive distributor of prestigious international firms such as LASAG, Alpha Laser, ACI, ACSYS, and Laser Components among others.
The Company achieved strong implantation and recognition in the market thanks to the perseverance and drive of the team of collaborators. The company changed its name in 2004 to “Laser Components and Services”, obtaining a clear leadership status in the market. . In 2011, the company “International Laser Advanced Solutions” was founded to cover projects with a strong component of technological innovation, collaborating with leading companies such as Jenoptik, AG from Germany.
The company was acquired by Trotec Laser GmbH (Austria) acquired Laser Components and Services, S.L. in 2016 and Carlos Rallo managed the new Spanish subsidiary of Trotec until the end of 2019. As of 2020, it has been dedicated to Consulting and Advising on LASER and photonic applications for Global Companies. Since 2021, ILAS has been supplying highly selective laser systems for welding, marking, and engraving applications, as well as power laser diodes, optical components, and safety elements for the use of laser systems.
